| O'Reilly Auto Parts Moment: Robert Schoemer had trouble with the "stealth Pontiac", breaking a rear end in eliminations. The push back to the pits was a bit of a Conga line, with the car going click-click-click-BOOM and the pushers crashing into the trunk. Too bad there's no video of that. Like any good racer not wanting to put things off, Robert scattered the parts around on the ground and went off in search of replacements. |

A. J. Enterprizes Top ET: We have your Saturday Two-For-One right here. Ty Casey and Jeromy Hefler wound up in the final round of both Top ET and All Class Quick. And after all those rounds, the results come out the same in both classes. At the tree in Top ET, Ty got a bitty bit better light with a .003 to Jeromy's .005. The run at the stripe was the decider and Ty hit it on the money with a 6.152 on a 6.15 dial. Jeromy ran a little off, showing 6.742 on a 6.73.
TSTC West Texas Pro Footbrake: Same pair, same end with some different details this time. Jeromy busted Ty on the tree this time, cutting a .015 to Ty's .048. At the top end though it was Jeromy taking about 2" too much stripe, clocking a 6.7394 on a 6.74 for a .0006 breakout. Ty dialed it up one and that was a good call, since he ran a leisurely 6.163 on a 6.16 dial for the win. |

| Pinnacle Countertop Solutions Modified ET: Theresa Dempsey had a double up day, winning in both Modified ET and Street Money. In Modified, Theresa busted off a .004 reaction time and ran 8.73 on a 8.69 for the win. Bobby Knox got the runner up spot right away with a -041 light and a closer 6.85 on a 6.84 dial. |
| Longmire Plumbing Jr. Dragster: Whitley Bettis of DeLeon got the win over Tyler Thorpe of Knickerbocker when Tyler went -.051 red in the final round. It would have been close, with Whitley running a 8.04 agains her 7.98 dial and Tyler running 8.99 on his 8.96. |
| Rhino Linings of Abilene All Class Quick: Everything pointed to Kevin Bracey of Levelland being the winner in All Run Quick, with Kevin hitting a killer .0018 light in the final and running a dead on 4.845 on a 4.84 dial. Wynette Hudgins collected runner up honors with a decent .020 light and a break out 5.52 on a 5.54 dial. |
| Whitten Inn Street Money: Theresa Dempsey used a .009 light and a 8.70 pass against a 8.69 dial to put Adam Kennedy (shown) in the runner up spot in Street Money. Adam drove the Nitro to a 11.1111 on an 11.10 dial but a slooooow light meant all those ones were only good for running second. |
| Max's Kawasaki Motorcycle - Mickey Thompson Tires of Texas tire winner: It was the Motocycles turn to run for a pair of Mickeys this week and Mike Rogers of Cisco (left) takes home the tires along with the win. Abilene's John Poor went -.068 red in the final round, handing the win over to Mike. Mike ran it out the back, showing 6.66 on a 6.71 to John's 6.17 on a 6.06 dial. |
| Whitten Inn Street Money - Mickey Thompson Tires of Texas tire winner: If you remember from the last race, there was a goof up in the final in Street Money where Robert Hector beat out Theresa Dempsey in the final. When the time slips were examined, it was discovered that Theresa had a .2 breakout at 135 MPH which are rather bogus numbers for Theresa's Firebird. A rerun was scheduled and the results are in - Robert still wins and collects a pair of tires from Adam Kennedy, representing Mickey Thompson Tires of Texas. The legit number from this race had Robert with a .106 light and a break out 8.713 under his 8.72. Theresa cut a .109 light and broke out again with a 8.62 on aher 8.69 dial at a more resonable 78 MPH. Congratulations to Robert and thanks to both racers for re-runing this race. |

| Sunday May 10: Robert Schoemer is off to a running start in the Street Eliminator points series, which started today. Robert shut down Theresa Dempsey's bid to win three eliminators in a single weekend. In the final it was Robert with a .098 reaction time and an 11.72 on an 11.74 dial. The breakout didn't matter since Theresa went -.045 red and then proceeded to run a dead on 8.820 on an 8.82 dial. Ooooh, that hurt. If you missed it today, you missed the money - Sterling paid out $200 to win, $100 for runner up and $50 for third. |

| Top ET Gamblers: It was Billy Williams of Merkel taking the win in Top Gamblers with a .006 reaction time and a 5.31 pass against a 5.29 dial. Kevin Bracey runnered up with a break out 4.885 on a 4.89 dial and a .033 light. |
| Modified Gamblers: The Mod Gambers final was a close race, with Sambo Tyra getting just enough advantage off the line to take the win from Clyde's Freddy Hillin. Sambo had a .062 light and ran 6.984 on a 6.97 dial for the win. Freddy was a bit slower on the tree with a .086 light but ran dead on - and I mean dead on - posting 6.7500 on a 6.75 dial. That's a .0095 win for Sambo at the finish line. |
