Street Muscle:
Lloyd Clark (Dallas) posted 9.40 on a 9.27 dial for the win in Street.
Runner up David Casperson of Justin ran 9.98 on a 9.87 dial.
Super Muscle: Chris
Kelly of Merkel went 8.72 on an 8.59 dial for the Super Muscle win.
Harold Baker of Richardson drove to a 9.04 on a 8.92 dial for second
place.
King Muscle: Marty Parker of Kemp
put the GTO in the winner's circle with a 8.08 on an 8.06 dial.
Mike Whaples from Mesquite had to settle for second with a break out
7.95 on a 7.98 dial.
Pro Muscle:
Sean Alstrin from Irving defends his win from last year with a 6.78
against his 6.74 dial in. David Langley of Duncanville made Sean
work for it, cutting a near identical light and running a 6.542 breakout
under a 6.55 dial in.
Electronics: Wayne
Brannon of Abilene posted a 7.34 on a 7.33 to get the electronics class
win. Runner up Brad Smith of Grand Prairie put up a close 6.43 on
a 6.40 dial.
Transbrake: Transbrake
is a new class this year. Mike Pierce of Dallas got a win
for the Duster with a 6.66 on a 6.63 dial. Mark Brown of
Arlington went red and then to rub it in ran a closer to the
dial 6.73 on a 6.72.
Race of Champions: John Wilson from Joshua went 8.33 on a
8.09 dial to get the ROC win. Michael Sutltz of Clyde developed a
problem and could only manage a 11.66 on his 10.00 dial.
